Information we collect
We collect only the details needed to build and deliver your itinerary: name, email, trip inputs (party size, resort, park preferences, notes you share with the concierge), and your account/payment status. We never store card data—payments are processed by a PCI-compliant provider on our behalf. Device and usage data (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) may be collected for security and analytics. The service is not directed to children under 13. If you provide information about a minor in your travel party, you confirm you are their parent/guardian and consent to its use for trip planning.
How we use your data
- Verify your account and unlock planner access.
- Generate and refine itineraries via LLM-powered planning tools.
- Provide downloadable PDFs and, on mobile devices, pre-fill your messaging app with trip highlights.
- Provide customer support and ensure compliance with retention rules.
- Improve the service and models using aggregated or anonymized inputs.
- Protect the service from fraud, abuse, and security threats.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics (e.g., Vercel Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if disabled. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention & deletion
Each itinerary remains available inside your account for one year after creation to give you time to finish your trip or revisit plans. After one year, itineraries and trip notes are permanently deleted from our systems. You can request early deletion at any time by emailing support@ropedrop.ai.
Security & third parties
Accounts and data are stored in secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Payments are processed through a third-party provider that specializes in card security. PDF exports are generated on our servers and delivered straight to your browser; text sharing happens on your own device, so no messaging provider receives your plan. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information with third parties. We may share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment, AI providers) solely to operate the service under contract.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at support@ropedrop.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. If updates are material, we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-app). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
